Hello, everyone.  When using a wig, you must have encountered a situation where the base does not stick. Don't worry, it's a very common thing.  When the base has oil, tape and glue will not work better, let me show you how to solve this problem.

For salons, the first thing to make sure is to use high quality glue or tape for wigs.  If there is oil in the bottom of the net, gently wipe the bottom of the net with a professional wig cleaner to remove the oil.  Then, before applying glue, dry the bottom of the net with a hair dryer on low temperature to ensure that it is completely dry.  When applying the glue, it should be uniform and moderate in thickness, apply it carefully along the edge of the bottom of the net and the part that needs to be pasted, and then wait for the glue to dry slightly and become a little sticky, and then accurately fit the wig on the customer's head, and gently press the hand to fix it, ensuring that every place is firmly pasted.

If you are solving it yourself at home, or are new to it.  Two simple methods that won't hurt the base.

1.     Rinse the wig thoroughly with shampoo and let dry naturally. Then pour the alcohol on a towel and wipe the base several times. After the alcohol dries, the problem is solved.

2.     If the alcohol wipe is not effective, you can use soap water to clean the base.

Please note the base needs to be cleaned again after normal wash for the hair piece. Because the base will have oil from hair when wash. Normally after 3-4 washes, the oil on the hair will be away. So the problem won't happen then.
