Make sure both surfaces to be bonded (scalp and system) are clean, dry and free of grease and oil. Remove any stubble/hair from the area of scalp to be bonded.
Please note that once you have finished attachment, you should avoid washing hair for 24 hours.
STEP 1:
Apply a thin layer of Scalp Protector on the lace and on the scalp (in the areas where the tape will be).
STEP 2:
Remove the protective paper from one side of the double-sided tape and apply around the perimeter of your scalp, EXCEPT the front hairline. DO NOT apply tape to the front of your scalp (approx 1" back from the front hairline and temples).
STEP 3:
Remove the remaining protective paper.
STEP 4:
Position the front of the system in place and then roll the system back over the scalp, making sure that the hair does not get onto the tape.
STEP 5:
Secure the hair system to your scalp by pressing firmly on the taped areas and smooth it out so there are no wrinkles or folds.
STEP 6:
Using a light colored eyebrow pencil, trace the contour of the lace by making a few dots approx. 1/8" in front of the front edge of the lace.
STEP 7:
Now clip the lace front back, securing it to the top of your head with a hair clip.
STEP 8:
Place tape along the hairline you have just traced. Position the tape down to the dots, but do not cover the dots.
STEP 9:
Wipe the dots off your forehead.
STEP 10:
Gently bring the lace front forward over the tape. Using the flat edge of a comb, press the lace down.
STEP 11:
Simply brush to blend in with your own hair and you are finished.
